I bought my prescription dog food from PetSmart until they told me I had to buy this from Banfield. No worries, so I started buying this dog food here. They have my dogs info and prescription and been purchasing my dog food here for 3 months until all of a sudden its a rule that my dog has to be seen here to buy $140 prescription dog food. "Let me ask my manager bc u were never allowed to do this." Of all the many employees Ive interacted with, youre telling me no one knows the rule but you, on a random Thursday?

We will not visit again. The salesperson/vet tech knew it was our first time with a puppy and first time with an animal period. She used manipulative tactics to try to up sell us. She was able to take advantage and pull at our heartstrings to make us agree to the pet care plus with monthly tick/worm/flea treatment. That would be $89/month. She said it would be a deal when it came down to neutering our dog and when we would do our vaccinations. Really it is a scam. Neutering should not cost $400-500 like she said it would be without the plan. As a last ditched effort she tried to sell us an ear gunk inspection for $60. Said it could be fungal. Guess she has never seen dirt before. I will be telling all the pet owners I know to avoid this vet at all costs. Thankfully we were able to reevaluate the situation and say no to this scam before being charged.
